Multi Year Registration for .co.uk
There isn’t long before domain name management company Nominet will allow for multiple year registration on the popular .co.uk domain name.
On May 1st this year, the much coveted domain will be available to be registered for anything between 1 and 10 years, having previously only allowed 2 year periods.
The flexibility of the system at Nominet is in line with many other domain management companies who already allow multiple year registration on domains like .com and .info.
Domaincheck are a UK based domain name registration team and one company that are looking forward to lengthening the .co.uk registration period. Naturally, single year registration will carry a heftier price tag, but the company are confident that the new availability will encourage businesses to preserve their brand for longer, and further prevent the effects of cybersquatters.
